The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern

Mattei’s Tavern dates back to 1886, when a Swiss immigrant named Felix Mattei built the tavern as the primary stagecoach stop between San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Since its earliest days, Mattei’s has been a community hub; the 19th-century water tower still serves as a landmark for locals and visitors alike.The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern has long held a fabled place in Central Coast lore enjoyed for generations, the beloved landmark opens a new chapter in Winter 2023 as the definitive luxury destination in the Santa Ynez Valley.

Historical Architecture and Modern Comfort Harmoniously Woven Into One
Rich with rustic sophistication and legitimate history, Mattei’s Tavern effectively melds old with new. The Tavern Building dates back to 1886 and the original cottages have been painstakingly restored to preserve their distinctive details, while new buildings sit alongside them – seamlessly blending with the authentic structures.

    Lunch: Monday – Sunday from ll:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Sta. Rita Hills Lavender Farm

~ Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm A boutique lavendar family farm located in the beautiful Santa Rita Hills of California.

The Sta.Rita Hills Lavender Farm first opened to the public July 4th 2022, this mother and son team uses Permaculture/ Regenerative practices to cultivate Lavender and Seasonal Specialty Cut Flowers. The Lavender is then either sold as bundles or distilled into Lavender Essential Oil to be used in all of the Bath and Body products carried in the farm stand and online.

Sta.Rita Hills Lavender Farm also grows lavender for Culinary purposes, selling Lavender culinary goods along with other farm grown foods such as Pomegranates and Farm Fresh Eggs.

Olive and Lavender Farms

Olive and Lavender farms is a beautiful & charming property boasting over 100 imported olive trees along the famous Stagecoach stop at Lansing’s Crossing. The site was a once a blacksmith shop for the stagecoaches and has a rich history, including a physical piece of a history – a 100 year old stone wall.

Taste Olive Oils and Balsamic Vinegars

When you visit the farm you can expect to taste and experience our estate grown and locally sourced olive oils and balsamic vinegars, explore the property, and shop from our consciously curated gift store. Items you can find include honeys + salts, locally inspired gifts, kitchenware, books and more!

When exploring the property you can walk through our greenhouse and garden, play some corn hole, sit under a giant oak tree in an adirondack chair, or perch yourself on our porch swing.

Born from the dreams of mother and son team Dalita & Duncan Harmon, Terre et Sang is a winery dedicated to the pursuit of crafting the most distinctive and delicious expressions of Grenache and Syrah. We believe that by picking the fruit at the peak of ripeness and using a minimalist approach in the cellar, each wine is a unique and powerful yet graceful and balanced expression of what mother nature and our vineyards have to offer. Yields are kept extremely low, the vineyards meticulously managed, and our team is united through the love of crafting extraordinary wines. Occasionally, we wander outside the lines and craft something that goes against the shackles of tradition and any notion of what we or this region “should” be. We are unbound to any one ideal or belief other than crafting wines that ignite the mind and soul of those who drink them.

Kid/pet-friendly inside & out, and walk-ins are always welcome.
